Reyes was responding to claims made by whistleblower Julie “Dondon” Patidongan, who alleged that a former judge now serving in a high-ranking PCSO post was acting as a fixer for Ang in various legal cases. Patidongan said the individual was managing Ang’s dealings with members of the judiciary and prosecution, even accompanying them on overseas trips for discussions. Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla earlier confirmed that several members of the judiciary are under investigation by the Supreme Court in connection with the unsolved sabungeros case.
