The Senate on Tuesday elected Sen. Kiko Pangilinan as chairperson of the Committee on Constitutional Amendments and Revision of Codes, replacing Sen. Robinhood Padilla.
The panel has jurisdiction over all matters proposing amendments to the 1987 Constitution and revising existing codes.
Padilla will serve as vice chairperson alongside Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano and Senate Deputy Majority Leaders Rodante Marcoleta and JV Ejercito.
The majority bloc members are Sens. Pia Cayetano, Bato Dela Rosa, Win Gatchalian, Lito Lapid, and Imee Marcos. Minority members include Sens. Loren Legarda, Ping Lacson, and Senate Deputy Minority Leader Migz Zubiri.
