Naniniwala si Justice Secretary Boying Remulla na mayroong ‘koneksyon’ ang gera kontra droga sa ilalim ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at ang pagkawala ng mga sabungero.
“Because the operators—the operations of many of the people here were intertwined also with the dr-g war. Meaning to say, they were involved in the dr-g war and they were also involved in the sighting of these people,” ani Remulla.
"Yung suspects sa dr-g war, ‘yung mga pum-p-tay ng tao, maaaring sila rin ang kasama rito na pum-p-tay rin ng mga sabungero.”
