‘PERSONAL DONATION’ KAY SEN. CHIZ ESCUDERO

Inamin ni Centerways Construction and Development Inc. President Lawrence Lubiano na nag-donate siya ng P30 million para sa senatorial campaign ni Senate President Chiz Escudero noong 2022 elections.

Ayon kay Lubiano, mayroong umiiral na government contracts ang kanyang kompanya noong mga panahong iyon.

Kabilang ang Centerways Construction sa top 15 contractors na nakakuha ng pinakamaraming flood control projects mula 2022 hanggang 2025.

“Personal donation ko po kay Chiz ‘yung P30 million. Hindi po galing sa company ‘yun,” saad niya sa pagdinig ng House Infra Committee sa flood control projects nitong Martes, September 2.

As long as anyone involved in the anomalies declared the donation then walang illegal diyan as far as they are concerned.

Okay lang silang mag donate ng malaki sa mga politicians during the campaign period since these politicians will return the favor to them.
