A Filipina caregiver in Rehovot, Israel has died from injuries she sustained when an Iranian missile strike hit her apartment block, the Philippine Embassy in Israel said on Sunday. According to the embassy in a Facebook post, Leah Mosquera, 49 and a native of Negros Occidental, underwent several surgeries at Shamir Medical Center, where she “fought for her life” in the intensive care unit for several weeks. Her passing was confirmed by her sister Joy, who also works in Israel.
